Positively impacting school communities through the values of kindness, respect, and non-violent conflict resolution.
The “Kindness Counts” program is designed to create a better school community through the values of kindness, respect, and non-violent conflict resolution.
Unfortunately, bullying has become rampant within our society and we help kids learn to recognize the symptoms of bullying and non-violent ways to handle these situations. We also teach kids how to deal with their own anger and use “cool down” techniques to prevent fights.
Through age-appropriate activities, defensive martial art movements and practical (and fun) role-playing, the “Kindness Counts” program instills and reinforces the same positive values that teachers look to encourage in the classroom and parents teach at home.
Character development through action is the key to the “Kindness Counts” program. This is done by challenging each student to personally do a minimum of 10 Acts of Kindness during the week following our presentation.
Examples of Acts of Kindness:
The injection of literaly thousands of acts of kindess can have a profound impact on your school community and act as a catalyst in creating a culture of kindness and respect going forward.
"Kindness Counts ā€¦.was a fantastic beginning to a desperately needed anti-bullying program at Wilmot and I would highly recommend Chris to ANY school district!"
"According to Merriam Webster, awesome is to cause feelings of awe. Master (Chris) Natzke radiates with awesomeness. I do not know if this is the final requirement of getting to be a 7th degree black belt, I just know that his presence made my students linger on his every word. I highly recommend any opportunity you would have to work with Master Natzke."
"He is interactive and has the ability to be funny, yet gets his point across forcefullyā€¦ā€¦His material is inspiring, self-motivating and can be life-changing."
"As I looked around the room, there was not one student who was not actively engaged. ā€¦ā€¦. You were also exemplary in your message to our students."
